If it’s a Sonic based CUV that’s just the Trax with leather and they don’t call it the Cimarron, I’ll be much dissapoint.

Wait, doesn’t Europe (and Canada?) already get the BLS? That’s basically what we’re talking about here. I originally joked the ATS should be called the Cim, but once I saw in person that it was nothing but a new CTS — now that the CTS has gotten bloated — I still vote for BLS. Dammit, I miss real names. Acronyms make me feel like I'm at work.

With the exception of the escalade I thought all Cadillacs were entry level..... they haven’t made a true world class luxury car since the 70s!

no, no, no, no, no!!! Why is GM so damned set on ruining Cadillac again? They have a perfect entry model already with the ATS! how about instead of badge engineering more crap you work on giving the ATS some better interior fit n finish, well no that should be all models not just the ATS. but still you don’t need a watered down Cadillac entry vehicle even if it is a cross over... They have the SRX already! what they need is to either kill the XTS and give Cadillac a real Halo vehicle that’s not just a tarted up Tahoe! You’re Cadillac damn it, stop acting like Lincoln!

I agree! They have the ATS, which is small-ish by luxury car standards, so what’s the plan exactly?

If it’s a FWD or AWD rebadger, I can’t see anybody jumping into it any more than they did the previous times it was tried. And if it’s genuinely a RWD coupe to compete with the BMW 2 series, Cadillac has a serious uphill climb ahead of them.
